Firstly I hope you dont mind I got you email from the contact page on your website for press releases and couldnt find it anywhere else, so I hope I didnt put this email into the wrong address or anything.
Quickly, Im into flight sims because Im into planes and flying and its just not possible to fly all the time in real life nor the type of aircraft that sims allow access to and Im an active member of the VAAF (Virtual Australian Air Force) - www.vaaf.net
To put things the quick way, Im trying to build an F/A-18 simulator and its very hard to find any information. as you would know you could basically build an F-16 with the amount of information and parts there is out there, but nothing on other aircraft such as the hornet.
I was hoping you may have an idea on where to source the information I need? I notice that in the hardware page there is a page for Brian McKenzie's F/A-18 cockpit. I was hoping to be able to contact him directly but his homepage is a dead link. Do you have any contact information for him?
I have wanted to build one for a while now, and especially after I had a couple incentive rides in the RAAF's simulator at Williamtown, but a lack of information (mainly tub, panels and seat dimensions) has slowed any progress.
Hopefully you might have an idea?
Lastly, I saw your segment on good game and thought it was great to see flight sims (and even more so because you had you Track IR and HOTAS there) get a plug to the public. good work :)
Hope you have any idea on where/who to to see about the sort of info I need.
David "fatb0y" Stuart.
